ABOUT THE BLOG AUTHOR
Cherie Sampson is an intermedia artist with a three-decade career in site-responsive performance, installation, and new media art, and a professor of art at the University of Missouri. She has presented her work internationally in art-in-nature symposia, film festival screenings and art exhibitions with solo performances presented in the U.S., Finland, Norway, Cuba, Spain, South Korea, Canada, the UK and the Netherlands. Her current project, “every.single.one” depicts personal and familial stories of challenge and resiliency in the face of hereditary breast cancer.
