  • The mission of Columbia Entertainment Company is to enrich the community by providing quality live theatre experiences to the citizens of mid-Missouri through education and participation. The CEC Theater (Carmen Price, Allyssa Huskey, additional board members and volunteers) provided support for and co-produced the February 2025 performance of “every.single.one.” (Directed by Cheryl Black).

  • Ellis Fischel membership includes clinical and research leaders from MU Health Care as well as faculty experts from multiple schools and colleges across the University of Missouri System. Members have a shared goal of using research to drive innovation that results in accessible, value-based cancer treatment and prevention programs. A $15K grant was provided the EFCC Research Administration office for production costs related to the performance, facilitated by Robin Dianics, Associate Director, Research Administration.

  • Earlier funding for research and development costs for the “every.single.one” performance were awarded from the MU Office of Research in the form of Research Council grants in 2019 and 2023 and a Research Board grant in 2019.

    The Division of Research, Innovation & Impact (RII) invests in the success of Missouri, the nation and the world by empowering University of Missouri researchers, scholars and entrepreneurs to develop projects that push the boundaries of discovery and scholarly pursuit, launch breakthrough innovations and technologies, and deliver research that offers beneficial impacts to the public.

  • This two-year research and creative works support program aims to create structures, supports, and mentoring for early and mid-career faculty members who engage in the arts and humanities. Cherie Sampson was selected for the inaugural Arts & Humanities Research & Creative Works Fellows program in 2022-24 to support the “every.single.one” project with funding and mentorship. (Over the two year program, Sampson’s mentors included renowned dramaturg, Mark Bly and Professor and Associate Dean of Research, Dr. Lynda Balneaves, University of Manitoba College of Nursing.

  • The School of Visual Studies at MU supported some production and travel-related costs through small-grant funding over the several years that “every.single.one” was in research, development and production.  

    SVS Mission: School of Visual Studies faculty are active artists and scholars who educate creative, empowered, and ethical citizens with the skills to shape communities and contribute to local and global professional discourses. Students study the historical and contemporary significance of visual media in society to become innovative practitioners and thinkers within the fields of art, design, and multimedia production.

  • The performance of “every.single.one” in July 2024 at the Goldman Theater, Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center in Washington, DC, was supported in part by a small grant from the Puffin Foundation. The Puffin Foundation, Ltd. seeks to open the doors of artistic expression by providing grants to artists and art organizations who are often excluded from mainstream opportunities due to their identities or social philosophies.
